mr Juan de Borga (nueva granada president) was the one that aprove the contsruction of the church Where is  "el cristo caido" in the mountain of monserrate. The mountain is ubicated in the eastern range it rise 3,152 meters at the sea level. in monserrate there are many stores it have their oun personality in the way their sell their products.the best store is in the store that sell cheese because all the cheese are so delicious. santa clara house located at the top of monserrate, that restaurant offers colombian tipic food like: bandeja paisa, tamales tolimenses,cuajada,envuelto and also have their famous barbecues of chuletas. there are 3 ways for going to the top. if you want you can go in funicular that is like a trainalso you can go in cable railway.if you want to do spor you can go walking but in this moment the stairs are closed.
